Brooks & Lethbridge, Alberta- July, 2011

Summer holidays, 2011 came with a bang as we flew to Alberta on July 4 just a few days after Trevor finished school. For the first few days of our trip, we experienced amazing weather. We landed in Calgary and drove our rented Dodge Grand Caravan to Brooks where we dropped in on Trevor's niece Sharon and family. Nathan, her husband kept us laughing and three-year-old Avery, kept us entertained. Most importantly, we met the newest family member, Judah and enjoyed lots of cuddles during our visit.

While in Brooks, we took the opportunity to visit Dinosaur Provincial Park which is a World Heritage Site. Here, we stopped to take a group photo above the badlands.

On our final evening in Brooks, Trevor's niece, Paula, drove up from Lethbridge and we were able to see her in a healthy, pre-delivery state as she is expecting in August. Paula and Sharon left early the next morning for BC to attend their grandmother's memorial service and we departed for Lethbridge. While in Lethbridge, we were able to enjoy dinner and a visit with our youngest niece, Andrea along with Paula's husband, Jamie.
